This is part of the Economic Stimulus Package.This means that you will be able to submit the total cost of any qualifying Wood or Wood Pellet Stove, Fireplace Insert or Furnas plus the Pipe, & installation when you do your 2010 Federal Income Tax. and you will receive next Spring, 2011, 30%, either as a credit to taxes you owe or as a refund. You will only receive 30% back of what you spent...up to $5,000 spent for a total refund possible of $1,500.00. So if you only spent $3,000, you will only receive $900.00 back.
